Interface Modules for Kawasaki Robot applications.

For use with Robot Controller Cards 2BW and 1TW.  2BW is the card in F0x controller, 1TW in E controller.

If you wish to connect to the F60 CONTROLLER  please navigate to that page, the I/O is quite different.

These modules provide efficient access to the 32 inputs and 32 outputs on CN4 and CN2 of the Robot I/O board.

Robust screw terminals provide real-world connection to each line. Prenumbered 1-16 or 17-32, easily renumbered using standard tags used for DIN rail terminals. DIN rail bases clip to standard TS35 symmetrical rail.

24Vdc is required to power each Module.

Each Module has a Green power-on LED.

I/0 from controller connects directly to the splitters,

which then each connect to two separate modules,

identical but numbered 1-16 and 17-32.

If only 16 or less inputs or outputs are required,

only one of each module is needed, but must

still be connected via the relevant splitter.

It is not possible to connect modules directly

to the robot controller connectors.

Input Units respond to 24V between

an input line and C, illuminating an LED

and Opto-Isolating the signal before

passing it on to CN4 on the robot I/O

controller, where the relevant input

is activated.

Part Numbers are;

INPSPLIT and INP16(1-16) or (17-32)

Channels 1-16 are connected by screw terminals on the Input module. The common rail is supplied with all 16 connected to C1 and C2 but these can be split into 2 x 8 commons by cutting a link on the PCB.

Output Units respond to a 24V signal

from CN2 on the robot I/O controller,

Illuminating an LED and activating a

Relay. The relays are rated 5A 250Vac

and are OMRON G6D industrial types,

SP NO with one contact commoned.

Part Numbers are;

OUPSPLIT and OUP(1-16) or (17-32)

 Output Channels 1-16 present a normally open contact which connects to Common when activated.

The common rail is supplied with all 16 connected to C1 and C2 but these can be split into 2 x 8 commons by cutting a wire link on the PCB.
